It is important to realize that God loves us just the way we are.  We can’t earn God’s favor, He simply accepts us regardless of our shortcomings and our failures.  If we think His love for us would be stronger if we had more faith way or if we did more good things, then we are wrong.  We must be careful how we view God because it will affect how we see ourselves.  
 
We tend to see things through our life experiences.  Our view of God may be incorrect because of a bad experience we had in the past or a wrong assumption that we made when we were a child.   Unfortunately, many people have a distorted view of God today.  To them He’s distant, uncaring and, much like their earthly father, he can’t be counted on.  God’s Word, on the other hand, reveals quite the opposite.  God’s love never ceases.  He created us and longs to have relationship with his creation. 
  

God loves you so much that He gave His only Son for you.  John 3:16   God longs to have relationship with you.  John 17:3   God will never leave you.  Hebrews 13:5 / Romans 8:35-39   God is always with us to strengthen us, help us, and guide us. Isaiah 41:10
