The Bible tells us in Genesis 1:26 that we were created in the image of God.  In other words, when God made us, He put something of Himself in us.  Being made in the image of God is profound, and it is what separates human beings from all other areas of creation.  Our lives are not the result of chance.  We didn’t come from nothingness.  If we were made by our Creator, then we were created for a reason.  There is intentionality about each and every one of us.  We are not accidents.  We were meant to be.  In Jeremiah 1:5 God says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Do you realize that God knew you before you were even born?  He has a plan for your life.  But if we are going to understand the answers to life’s questions, if we are going to be able to know the truth of our existence, we must first understand that being human means that we were made by God, in the image of God, for relationship with God.  ...more...
